Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran, made the remark during a visit the exhibition on Saturday.
He hailed the large number of visitors and hoped that the exhibition serves as “a prelude to acting upon the Quran and transforming our lives in accordance with its teachings”.
The main purpose of holding this exhibition is to promote the Quran, he said. “It is a positive development that a large number of visitors come to see the Quranic works, and fortunately, this edition of the exhibition has received a warm reception.”
Regarding the slogan of this year's exhibition, “Quran; Path of Life”, he emphasized that the people of Iran are Muslims and wish to live according to the Quran.
In this context, the role of those who promote the Quran is to introduce Quranic family life, and the Quran exhibition is a good venue for this, he went on to say.
